These zesty and flavorful pickled radishes are a quick and spicy way to add some kick to your meals. They go well with salads, tacos, and sandwiches because of the pickling liquid's tartness and the spicy red pepper flakes.
Ingredients: 1 bunch of radishes, thinly sliced. 1/2 cup white vinegar. 1/2 cup water. 2 tablespoons sugar. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes. 1 clove garlic, minced.
Instructions: In a saucepan, combine white vinegar, water, sugar, salt, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a simmer, stirring to dissolve the sugar and salt. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Place the thinly sliced radishes in a glass jar or container with a tight-fitting lid. Pour the pickling liquid over the radishes, ensuring they are completely submerged. Let the pickled radishes cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy your spicy quick pickled radishes as a crunchy and tangy condiment or snack!
