It was inspired by a scene in Chapter 18 of A Twin Star.

After YEARS of writing my DBZ fics, I realized I hadn’t drawn my OC Sofia in years, let alone after her “transformation” in ATS, so I figured I’d use it as an excuse to practice sketching in Procreate! I might sketch some Piccolo too or go back and tweak some old drawings, but for now, TA-DA:

I can definitely see the improvement in my art from when I first started drawing Dragon Ball when I was seventeen! Mizuki is a lot different to how she was when I first designed her, and I think that's a good metaphor for my own change as well! When I first started drawing, I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I knew I wanted to draw for a living...Now I'm an MA student studying about comics and graphic novels, and I can't wait to graduate and create my own manga for you guys to enjoy outside of my fanart and fanfiction. I've grown up, and I think the change in my character just intensifies that feeling of maturity a little. Of course, her maturity went back a bit, lol, but that's besides the point.
