This moth belongs in a museum! Known as the Picasso moth, the Miro moth, or Baorisa hieroglyphica, adults are noted for their striking wings, with patterns resembling the styles of famous abstract artists.

From the erebidae family. They have a wingspan of approximately 50 mm. They can be found in northeastern India and Southeast Asia.

Baorisa hieroglyphica is a species of moth in the family Erebidae. It was first described by the British entomologist Frederic Moore in 1882.

The genus Baorisa was long thought to be monotypic, but three other species have been described within the genus.

It is found in parts of Asia, where it occurs in countries such as India, China, Nepal, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
