Summer Ball: Raven

Kai always was reminded of helping his mother out with the business when he saw himself in a suit and tie; Because of this, the smile on his face was a bit on the bitter side as he eyed himself in the mirror. 

Thankfully, the outfit looked to still fit him well enough. He figured he’d ditch the tie for a violet one, but otherwise, he was satisfied. Maybe he’d even find some good looking people to dance with. The thought turned the smile into a smirk.

•｡ ✿ Given her current condition in the timeline of her pregnancy, part of her remained apprehensive about attending the ball in fear of premature exhaustion and resorting to dragging Luke out early. After much reassurance from him, however, she decided to concede to his persuasive demeanor and treat herself to a splendid time in what would presumably be her natural habitat -- an ethereal ballroom with extravagant decorations and beautiful people in their gowns and suits. Above all, though, she wished for her husband -- whose patience and perseverance throughout this pregnancy left her speechless with expressing her gratitude -- to have an absolutely incredible evening.

Well, fuck. Sabrina didn’t owe anything that was... Classy, per say. Her wardrobe ranged from “Hello ma’am. Nice to meet you.” to “Your son calls me mommy too.” sorta thing. Either she would go in a basic dress with cute heels, or a dress that barely covered her ass and heels that could reach the roof... Obviously, she tried her best to choose the best one for the occasion... “I’ve never even been to a ball before.” Sabrina sighed and decided to pick whichever she seemed to like the most.

Pia waited on the rocks of the cove for her gown delivery. She had worked on the design with a few of her fish friends before sending it to the tailor of the sea to get the magical touch she wanted.

With her background, she had attended many balls in the past, but this would be her first one on land and she couldn’t be more excited. It was the perfect opportunity to meet new people and wear a pretty dress. Everyone is going to look soooo good~♪

“It’s here!”

She jumped up at the sight of the clam shell express and clapped excitedly. The shell stopped at the edge of the rocks and opened to reveal her handmade, bioluminescent ballgown for the upcoming event. Her eyes lit up just as bright as the dress did, leaving her speechless for once in her life.
