I am a dragon. My flesh, my bones, my organs; all of them belong to the body of a dragon. I may not look like what one imagines a dragon to be; four limbs and bipedal. Pale, freckled skin without scales. No fur or hair other than a bush of curly red on my head. No tail, claws, fangs, or horns. No strength or fantastic abilities. Yet this body and all that makes it up is still that of a dragon.
Draconity defines the entirety of me. My behavior, my presentation, my gender, my sexuality; my mind, my soul, my body. You cannot have any part of me without draconity also being present in some form.
Do I still experience dysphoria and discomfort with this form? Yes, but it is not because it is human.
This body is functionally and visually "human," but that does not make it human. Your body is whatever you make of it, and for me, that is a dragon.
