I'm glad that I could do this, flying from Gauhati to Imphal I realised that I could see some floating bodies on a water body but not sure what it was tough it looked pretty interesting and my curiosity pumping to know what this was and the moment I landed I got to know that this was one of it's kind in the whole world... For people who don't know, like me until I did some research, Loktak Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Northeast India and is famous for the phumdis floating over it. Phumdis are a series of floating islands which can be found only here in the entire world... Though this was discovered accidently, but such accidents are always welcomed...
