I have noticed that the trend to 'look good' has really risen. I have noticed people judging others physical appearance a lot more and throwing remarks such as "you can do better than that". But really, what is doing better? Finding someone that has better physical attributes?
Fair enough you want to be with someone attractive, or have 'good looking' friends, but truth is the only factors that will hold and progress the relationship is the inner qualities, and that person you're with thats good looking will mostly likely not seem that good looking as time goes by. That's why you'll probably never get to know so many people because you have judged them on how they look, and think "nah they're ugly, they look stupid, they seem weird" etc etc.
I sometimes wonder what if I got into some kind of accident, and it completely ruined my face, burnt it, gave me scars. How will people see me? I will lose that positive first impression quality, I will be looked at as an ugly person, no one would really be interested in getting to know me. But really, I'm just the same person as before...
Let's look past the physical layer...because it just doesn't last.
