Summary: “Phil?” Techno’s voice sounded like something had happened. She opened her eyes again.
Phil was standing halfway down the basement steps, but not her Phil. Younger and gawkier, with close-cropped hair and wearing shapeless black, this Phil was staring at them in shock. “Guys? Did I—did—fuck.” He ran a hand over his mouth, head tilting to the side in question. “Do I know you?” Her husband—not her husband yet—searched her expression and Techno’s with what looked like hope he wasn’t willing to commit to.
“Hi Phil.” Techno’s tone was deadpan. “Long time no see.”
“I think we’re from your future!” Kristin contributed. “Hi.” She smiled at him, a little apologetic. This Phil looked so young and uncertain, she wanted to squish his cheeks. "Sorry."

Cries pierce the previously silent darkness, and Kristin groans, shifting to poke her nearest partner. She's not sure which one; that would involve opening her eyes.
"Your turn," she grunts.
"Nah," says Techno, flinging an arm over to nudge the body pressed against her back. "I did it last time. Phil's turn."
"Fuck off," Phil says, slurred against her back enough that it's just the vague suggestion of syllables. "I fed 'im two hours ago. Kristin's turn."
"Mm, I pushed him out of my vagina. You guys can do night feedings." The cries stop and she tilts her head, waiting. Maybe-
They start again, and all three of them sigh.
"Fine," Techno says, brushing a kiss to her forehead before rolling off the bed. She snuggles deeper under the covers, enjoying the warmth and softness of the bed.
"Figures your baby would be breaking the Geneva Convention," Techno mutters as he walks out the door, and Phil snorts. The cries stop a few seconds later, and Kristin sighs again, sleep quickly overtaking her.
