terms such as 'brown death ray' are often complicated for the reason that they hold many meanings such as:

I'm sorry. Kinda new to apologetics only 15. But I don't understand what you mean by God being bound by logic. I mean sure other people might think so, but doesn't it seem natural that a God that exists outside of time and built the universe had no limits
That's precisely why I said that I feel obligated to say yes so that I don't insult your intelligence. You think like a teen and write like a teen, so my conclusion, which is verified by your blog description, is that you're a teen. I, however, am not a teen. I am not new to apologetics. I've heard it all and I've read a great deal on these matters. Bound by logic, to keep it simple, goes back to what I said: he will not make a squared circle. Carm.org puts it this way:
Omnipotence is not the ability to do anything conceivable, but the ability to do anything consistent with His nature and consistent with His desire within the realm of His unlimited and universal power which we do not possess. This does not mean He can violate His own nature.
His nature is said to be omnipotent and logical; he cannot violate this. So he is either bound by his nature or by logic. It's an unconvincing response--especially since logic is independent of his nature as it is part of our nature and even the nature of animals. If "all things are possible" with god, he should be able to do utterly illogical things (i.e. bend the laws of physics). However, there are only stories of such violations of logical and natural order; there have been no direct observations of such events. A rod is a rod and a snake is a snake. A rod is not a snake and a snake is not a rod. However, according to a myth in Exodus, god changed one into the other at will; these are clear violations of nature--violations that simply do not happen. A transcendent god would be limitless, but such limitlessness isn't palpable. This is what an atheist means when saying, there's no evidence for a god.

My opinion.
Being a Christian, I'm expected to follow a set of rules predefined for me in our holy book, the Bible. I get that. You know, don't kill, don't steal, etc.
But NOWHERE in the Bible does it say "Be one conscious mind and never have your own opinion ever". A lot of my Christian friends just stay away from subjects that the Bible doesn't mention. They need someone to tell them "Rock music is bad" before they could ever take a stand on rock music. Then the whole thing just grape-vines until you get a whole mass of people protesting rock music outside of some Linkin Park concert.Â
I'm almost certain that there's a reason God gave us free will and a brain. To decide for ourselves what is good and what is bad. Is rock music inherently bad? No. Would I consider a particular rock song bad if one of the lyrics went on about selling one's soul to the devil and whatnot? Yes. But that's my OPINION. And I know what some people are going to say: "Yeah, well, if you weren't a Christian, then you wouldn't believe that/have such strong feelings about it."
Yes, religion does vary how you feel about certain things. But everything can vary how you feel about anything. A broken heart might change how you feel about love, just as a broken spine might change how you feel about football.Â
I guess all I'm saying is, stop being so scared of the world. Go out and form your own opinions, instead of just waiting for people to tell you how to feel.
