I have almost no experience playing video games (beyond sims 4), but my brothers in town and wanted to play Baulders Gate 3 with me. Heres how its gone so far:
Night One: Spent over an hour on character customization until my controller turned off while we were eating dinner and the whole thing reset. Played maybe the first 10 minutes of gameplay
Night Two: Explored the first few areas, and engaged in some easy combat to get the hang of things. Safe to say I am pretty rubbish at remembering which buttons to click in which order. Almost cause my brother to have an aneurysm.
Night Three: Accidentally instigated genocide of a whole species in a small town. Almost accidentally instigated my own murder via frustrated brother.
Night Four: Accidentally instigated a fight with the mother of all spiders and caused every party member to die.
I'll update you if my brother and I are still speaking by new years.

Phase Spider
Phase spiders were monstrous arachnid-kin that dwelt within the Ethereal Plane. They made quick forays into the natural world to snatch an unlucky creature to feed upon. Those stolen by phase spiders were never seen again and were regarded as unsolved disappearances.
The phase spider resembled a giant, two-eyed, spindly-legged spider with dark green or blue and white coloration.
The phase spider transported between the Ethereal Plane and the Material Plane for the purpose of hunting. It looked for a likely spot in the Ethereal Plane, and then teleported (its form of teleportation was known as "phasing," hence the name) to the Material Plane, presumably ambushing travelers it expected to be there, biting and killing them, and then quickly retreating back to the Ethereal Plane.
