#pharm tech

Trying again with a productivity challenge, except this time it's going to be 29 days- te same number of days as I have until my pharm exam. To count as a successful day, I need to study 20 flashcards twice, and do at least three sections of reading. I will take six quizzes a day as well.

challenges with this include : I work for 8 hours a day and am EXAUSTED afterwards, so I have to do everything in the morning (not really a problem); I have a friend visiting me for the next week, and because I work and also have them to hang out with, I will not have very much time (I will do my best to study on my work breaks)

I will try and update daily, but I'm not holding myself to that

🍓New blog!🍓 I've been a lurker on tumblr for the last-- oh, decade-- and I'm finally determined to use the site for it's intended purpose... posting things.

This is my new studyblr. Since school starts in late August, this (for now) will just be a compendium of me hopping jobs, writing penpals, enjoying life, getting more outdoorsy again after a long spell spent homebound, and more!

So... a little update:

🥼I got that new job as a pharmacy technician. It's horrible. Beyond bad. I worked as a pharmacy clerk for about 8 months, and it was not great, but somehow this looks like it would be even worse? The silver tide of elderly patients was unending, and there were exactly two (2) folks in the pharmacy to hold it back. Nonstop complaints to the management I'm sure. I realized very quickly that I had to get out of here ASAP. I still want to get into being a pharm tech, but that can wait a few years y'know?

SPAM TOWN USA was right above my head as I was doing all the required computer trainings

👔I reached out to my old boss at the company I just left, and she said there was an opening for an assistant manager. Sounds perfect. I had the interview yesterday, and I got the job offer! Only... it pays real low. In a high cost of living state. I'm going to have to do some serious negotiations.

📨Just got a letter from an Australian penpal of mine! How cool is that stamp? "Bungle Bungle Range"?

Anyway, I have to head off to work at about 10 today. It's 7:30 currently. Hoping to go for a walk, do some reading, get some writing in, and clean a little before going over there.
