Phan is Over Party: Reaction
I’m back talking about Dan and Phil because there are some people with the nerve to bash and hate on Dan and Phil because (Phil) he liked one little tweet. I’m going back to come strictly at those bashing them. I don’t care about what you say or if you block me because you’re offended but the main point of this post:
IF YOU FOLLOW DAN AND PHIL FOR ONLY PHAN, YOU ARE A FAKE FAN.
I can not express how important it is to be considered a fan to actually care about the creator’s work (what a concept) and not about their relationships. Phan does not make Dan or Phil’s content better.
I don’t personally ship them and I’m not saying shipping them is the issue. The issue comes is when you ship them and thats the only reason you followed or subscribed in the first place. Some of the people pissed off at Phil are those people, and then it pisses me off. If you’re only there for ‘uwu phan’ than you are not a fan of the content creators.
Your fanfiction and fanart about Phan screwing each other into the night is not why you should follow Dan and Phil. You should follow Dan and Phil for their amazing videos about life or silly things, or follow for their gaming videos or baking videos, hell! Follow if you seen them on other youtube channels or watched one episode of PINOF. That’s fine if that’s why you follow them, but the moment the attention shifts from them as human beings to your puppets for a ship, then that line of human decency has been crossed.
Dan and Phil are not making content to screw with your minds or make money off of you. I don’t know what part about it makes it seem like they’re doing it strictly for money in the first place? They both seem to genuinely enjoy interacting with their audiences at their shows and in their liveshows, they love fanart from all their fans, and they even make videos for us to enjoy which is a privilege in itself.
If you believe they have ‘PHAN’ branded as the meaning for their accounts and that’s what they intend to make money off of, then please reevaluate because Phil was making videos before Dan waddled in, and they make videos without each other in them, and they still get good views off of them. They do get money from their videos but saying they only do it for revenue just hurts. Things like shipping IRL people can drive friendships apart in case you didn’t know, and then it could really be over for everyone.
I don’t ship Phan myself, but this wasn’t targeted towards people who understand what I’m saying and agree. This is targeted to ‘Demon Phannies’ whose Dan and Phil lives are only Phan lives, and that’s where I can’t agree.
The moment your attention is only on their relationship is when you should drop watching them.
I love their content and I’d hate for them to lose views + followers but if you are only watching for their relationship to suddenly turn romantic than you’re in the wrong boat. They won’t suddenly kiss each other on camera, they won’t just post a video of them cuddling, they won’t have all this “phan” interacting at the drop of a hat, ESPECIALLY if one or both of them doesn’t want that. Forcing their current bond for a publicity stunt would be so much more obvious.
Also, just because some people are throwing this poor kid in, please leave Adrian out of this. I don’t know why people are bringing up Adrian but please DON’T. If you don’t know who Adrian is: good, and if you do, keep it to yourself. The same goes for the V-Day video.
Just please, watch yourselves.
Dan and Phil are their own beings and they don’t deserve hate because of something silly.
