Summary:Phil’s parents are in town and he’s freaking out. Rated:G Phil rushes around the flat for a fifth time trying to make sure everything was in place and not a speck of dirt could be seen. Dan laughs to himself watching him run back and forth waiting for Phil to pass by Dan reaches his arm out grabbing Phil around the waist pulling him onto the couch.

"Will you calm down the place looks great and your parents aren't coming to see the flat they're coming to see you."

"I just want everything to go well and look nice."

"Trust me it does now will you chill out before you knock something over? Your parents have been here before why the extraness?"

"This is just really important I'm going to tell them about us and I want it to be good."

"And it will be don't worry so much."

Dan smiles pressing a kiss to his temple before releasing the older lad to finish making lunch. Sighing Dan makes his way into the bedroom to finish getting ready he knew Phil would have a fit if he didn't. When the bell finally rings Dan pushes Phil into the lounge before going to answer the door.

"Hello Dan it's great to see you dear."

Phil's mum smiles hugging Dan as he shakes his father's hand the three chat about their ride down before Phil comes into the hall greeting his parents.

"We've been very excited to come visit you love the place looks amazing."

"Thanks mum."

Phil grins leading them into the lounge Dan walks to their room grabbing his wallet and phone.

"Phil would you like me to go and get some drink?"

"That would be so great thank you love."

Placing a quick kiss to his cheek Dan heads out wanting to give Phil some time to spend with his parents alone. Walking down the sidewalk Dan makes his way to Tesco to get their drinks and some snacks.

"Hi sir is this everything?"

"Yes."

Dan gives a awkward smile wanting nothing more than to get back home so he could relax and eat something. Paying for his items Dan carefully carries everything home taking his time so not to spill anything. This was the last time he would offer to get everyone drinks and go alone he was really struggling. Slowly but surly he makes his way back to the flat having to ask the neighbor to get the door for him. Taking the elevator up to their place Dan uses his shoe to knock for someone to open it.

"There you are I was wondering where you had gone."

Phil smiles taking some of the items lightening Dan's hands carry everything to the kitchen he smiles.

"I had a bit of trouble but nothing too major."

"Well I'm glad you were able to do it thank you very much."

Imagine Phil writing Dan his first ever love letter.

Dear Dan, First off I want to say hi I hope your day is going well even after I almost finished your cereal. In my defense it was delicious and mine was already gone so why not right? Anyway I wanted to tell you I love you not I love you your my best mate let share some laughs over a pint. I mean I am in love with the way you laugh your eyes crinkling at the corners. The way your hair curls after being out in the rain or humidity or even on days where you don't feel like taken your flat irons to it. I love your smell(I know that sounds creepy but hear me out) the way your cologne just settles perfectly on you never too much but always just enough. The smell mixed with in your word despair and misery( honestly sometimes your just too much) but I wouldn't change that for anything. Your arms are like coming home every time they're around me I feel at peace like everything wrong in the world will settle out.   I'm in love with the small pudge of your tummy an the smooth skin that seems to change color in the different light. I love your personality dark humor and all the way you can make me laugh or encourage me with just a few words. Dan I'm in love with every little thing about you even your flaws which I'm lovingly blinded to. I'm in love with your determination and passion for things you do. I'm so in love with you and that scares me. By loving you I'm willing to give up parts of myself that could be totally destroyed but I trust you enough to know you won't.

I really hope you love this letter because I mean every word I don't know what else to really write about so I'm just going to continue to ramble. Stop listening to hateful people you don't think anyone pays attention or notices but I do. I hate seeing you hurt and upset you reading those comments or replies are doing just that. Nobody is prefect but to me you're pretty damn close just everything you do for other people for me is just insane and I appreciate you so much. I think I'll end it here I could go on forever but my hand is cramping and I want to put this next to your pillow before you wake up.

Dan walks into the lounge trying to feel for the light switch.

"Please don't turn it on I have a slight headache."

"Baby why are you sitting in the lounge then shouldn't you be laying down to get rid of it?"

"Just didn't feel like moving."

Phil whispers wiping his eyes as he feels Dan sit next to him Dan's arm wrapping around him.

"What caused your headache love why are you crying?"

Dan asks hearing him sniffle cupping Phil's cheeks he feels the tears spilling onto his hands. Pulling Phil onto his chest Dan rubs his back trying to get Phil to calm down after beginning to sob when Dan held him.

"Come on beautiful shh it's alright."

"A bunch of people are saying how better off without me you would be that you deserve so much better and I couldn't possibly make you happy. They don't believe you love me for me and that it's just to further your career."

Phil sniffles clinging to Dan's jumper his face buried in his chest.

"Well they're wrong you make me happy I wouldn't be where I am without your constant support and faith in me. Baby I fell in love with you for who you are yeah I may have just been a kid when I started getting feelings for you but they've grown so much over time."

Dan whispers pressing a kiss to his the top of his head rubbing his back as he rocks them back and forth.

"You help make me a better person you make me the happiest I have been in so long you are my life and light."

Dan can feel his heart breaking as he listens to Phil he pulls back so he can look at him.

"There are so many reasons why I want you and only you Phil you love me for who I am. You are silly and stubborn in so many ways. You like random nights where we shut off all the lights and just dance around the room. Our favorite songs playing quietly in the background when I'm holding you I'm holding my world."

"I'm a mess."

Phil whispers wiping his face hearing Dan whisper softly in his ear about how his darling Phil looked perfect just as always."

"I have no idea how I got so lucky to be with you Dan."

We are still kids, but we're so in love Fighting against all odds I know we'll be alright this time Darling, just hold my hand Be my guy, I'll be your man I see my future in your eyes  

"We're still young we don't understand a lot of things but as long as we're in love that's all I'm worried about. I'm so in love with you Phil Lester and sometimes it scares me I don't care what anyone says you make me happy you mean everything to me."

He says taking Phil's hand tightly in his pressing a soft kiss to the skin.

"You're my boyfriend and the only future I want is the one with you I can see it every time I look at you."

Now I know I have met an angel in person And he looks perfect, I don't deserve this You look perfect tonight  

"You're like a angle that I don't deserve you are everything I want and more so please baby don't listen to any of them hateful people. I love you Phil and I hope you don't ever forget that."

"I love you too Dan so so much."

Phil’s POV

There were only 10 minutes left. Only 10 until the show. Our first show in the UK was happening and we’d been preparing for this for months now.

My heart is pounding and I just can’t breathe. Everything around me is a blur and I can hear the crowd cheering for us while the final songs in the playlist are coming to their ends.

What if I forget some of the script or embarrass myself on stage? Hundreds of people have come for TATINOF and I can’t embarrass myself.

Where is Dan? I check frantically but I can’t see him. There is only the lighting crew but I can’t see him. Dan?

“Excuse me, have you seen Dan?” I ask one of the crew, but they’re occupied and walk away.

There. I see him in the corner talking to Louise. He’s there. I quickly rush over to him and just embrace him, my head fitting perfectly into the crook of his neck.

“Phil, what’s wrong?” Dan says, as he wraps his arms around me, returning the embrace, comforting me.

“I just…. I….” I can’t even finish my sentence. Everything is just so overwhelming.

My eyes start to water, tears start to fall. Soon, they’re streaming down my face, a sudden torrent of sadness rushing from my eyes.

“Ssshhhh, shhhh…” Dan gently whispers into my ear, continuing the hug.

Gently, he releases his grip and faces me. He uses his thumb and forefinger to wipe my tears away then cups my face in his hands.

“Don’t worry, Phil, everything will be fine….” Dan continues to reassure me.

I hear the last song play. It was High School Musical. That had been Dan’s choice, of course.

Dan says goodbye to Louise who has just been awkwardly standing there and he grabs my hand, leading me towards the stage. We grab our microphones and we walk right until we’re almost on stage.

Just before we walk on, Dan squeezes my hand one last time, kisses me on the cheek then he walks on first. The crowd goes wild and so I walk on…
