what still to this day drives me nuts is how. geosenge town is never repaired. the ultimate weapon stays unfurled in its center, its buildings are never righted or reconstructed. iirc the town empties after this moment and i dont think anyone goes back to it. i dont think anyone even mentions it in za.
you can go back to it, though. once you're out of lysandre labs you can go back. you can awkwardly pick your way around these demolished houses and this flower of their ruin looking for the people who were happy to talk to you.
you can stop team flare. but it wasn't soon enough for geosenge town.
ok don't say things like that until i'm done with the game mind you not that this is anything major but i actually like discovering these little details myself. but yeahhuguhghghgh. what looks like a couple little houses to the rest of the world is a bunch of people's homes. them being ignored is also hauntingly realistic. well we stopped the big bad no time to care about some tiny backwater town all's well that ends well right? genuinely super sad
