writers:
break up your paragraphs. big paragraphs are scary, your readers will get scared
fuuuuck epithets. “the other man got up” “the taller woman sat down” “the blonde walked away” nahhh. call them by their names or rework the sentence. you can do so much better than this (exception: if the reader doesn’t know the character(s) you’re referring to yet, it’s a-okay to refer to them by an identifying trait)

new speaker, new paragraph. please.
“said” is such a great word. use it. make sweet love to it. but don’t kill it
use “said” more than you use synonyms for it. that way the use of synonyms gets more exciting. getting a sudden description of how a character is saying something (screaming, mumbling, sighing) is more interesting that way.
if your summary says “I suck at summaries” or “story better than summary” you’re turning off the reader, my dude. your summary is supposed to be your hook. you gotta own it, just like you’re gonna own the story they’re about to read
follow long sentences w short ones and short ones w long ones. same goes for paragraphs
your writing is always better than you think it is. you just think it’s bad because the story’s always gonna be predicable to the one who’s writing it

Simple is okay. Simple is better than compicated.
If you don’t know the fancy word, there’s a 90% chance the reader won’t know the fancy word.
If you’re writing in your second/third/etc. language and you’re shy about it, don’t be! Be proud! You’re doing something amazing and your words matter
Names will come at some point. Having [character B] retrieve [McGuffin] from [location] during [holiday] is a-okay, don’t worry about it!
You’re still a great writer, no matter how many typos you make of what your writing speed is.

Majority of the circus cast (Before zooble and pomnis arrivel) WERE BUMS. When gangle arrived Jax picked her name, AND NOBODY ELSE OPPOSED OR DID ANYTHING TO HELP HER OR CHOSE A DIFFERENT NAME
They let rabbit fuck all over and walk all over them and nobody in the cast did nothing
BUT WHEN POMNI "THE GREATEST TO EVER DO IT" SMACKED SOME SENSE INTO HER, THE FANBASE CALLED HER A BIRD AND ENABELER (ik pomni befriended Jax and kinda left everyone in the dust, but nobody is perfect.)

You seem to be a fan of the Mario and Luigi games and Sonic, saw this art by @ALEXISCREED02
And it made me wanna ask, what would you like Mario and Luigi crossover Sonic game to be like and what to see? The title Chaotic Speed makes me think the OC main villain would be another evilified Chao-Entity like Sonic Adventures Chaos. Maybe embodying like a Shooting Star instead? So it's got the speed aspect of Sonic while keeping the Star aspect of Mario. Could also be like a counterpart to Starlow since she's technically an M&L "oc".
I dunno, am just tossing out ideas. Woulf like to hear what you'd like in a cross game.
I would definitely like a more "serious" story game than what we got for the Olympics crossovers that's for sure. also, as unlikely as it would be in the event we do get a Mario and Sonic game, I would like to see idw characters too.
maybe a crossover "multiversal" Olympics game would be awesome too, if only as an excuse to see paper mario characters or archie characters but that's obviously wishful thinking
as a premise for a M&L RPG style crossover... I think it would be extremely cool if Fawful and Starline teamed up as main villains. Fawful seems to value teamwork or loyalty if Midbus is anything to go by. Starline obviously doesn't unless you're his underling. idk, i think it would be awesome

I really enjoyed the tadc finale, it wasn't THAT bad as people hyping it up, but it wasnt peak fiction. and in the grand scheme of things, it was all it can do

Belle had been passing by Sequin after the whole fiasco with Metal Sonic being kidnapped when she first met the chaotic jester in blue. Sonic and Tails told her about their recent run-in with a peppy, gliding thief that became their friend. Who she coincidentally ran into while exploring the bottom of the ravine.
Well, more like the sugar glider collided into her carriage. Something about being distracted. Since then, it's been taking her a few days to repair it.
(It's been repaired. She just wanted an excuse to see Soleil.)

The saying, “honor among thieves”, was actually completely false. It's first come first serve, and everyone who wasn't in the lead got arrested. The jackal knew that Rouge would sell her out in a heartbeat if it meant eliminating fierce competition.
…Then again, that saying is sometimes situational and even just the slightest bit different that can completely change the meaning. Besides, if Rouge hasn't sold her out yet, she doubts it'll take much to take her down.
