“The yard.” Marr pinches the bridge of his nose, then turns to look out the window. All of Tsyaira is laid out below them; she can’t possibly mean all of it. 

“Yes. All of it. I’ve told you about the latest chatter on the Holonet. We’re going to be fielding a lot of guests this Samna, and I personally feel that coming to Tsyaira should be the experience of the year, at least before Life Day. We have an obligation to go all out for our people. And you’re dressing up.”

“I’m what now?”

She continues as if he hasn’t spoken. “Well, we both are, obviously, and we’re going to roam the grounds, but everything sort of officially kicks off in about two days, so we need to get this done.”

If only she’d put this much effort into briefs and after action reports; she’d be utterly unstoppable. “Very well. I assume you already know what you want to do? Or is this one of your plans where you have twelve percent of an idea and just make it up as you go? You do so dearly love to keep me on my toes in this regard.”

“It’s a twelve percenter.” She grins. “But it’ll be fine. Call the meeting I can already tell you want to call.” Her face lights up. “I got it! You can dress as a Jedi.” Kryn’s mouth curves in a wicked grin. “It was fun last time.”

He shakes his head. “That was one time, and I specifically told you never again. Ever. Besides, I run the risk of getting shot by my own troops, and it would probably be too scary for little children, don’t you think? Besides, I have some ideas. I think you’ll like them.” He pulls a datapad out of his pocket and examines his schedule. “Do you have time in the next hour?”

“I can rearrange anything on my schedule. Shall we meet in the blue room of the Estate House? I need to round up a few things and come up with a more concrete vision for this.”

Marr nods. “I’ll see you then.”
