When Wyatt was in the hospital and still out of it, he was asking about the kids and he said, “I have to take them to Mickey Mouse.” I knew he was talking about our cruise. So thankful to still have him here to take us to Mickey Mouse!

Yesterday was a really good day. I needed a good day.

I had some last minute pictures taken for Mother’s Day and for some dumb reason I’m embarrassed to even post them. I’ve gained weight in the past 2 months and just feel like I look terrible. I don’t say this for reassurance, I’m just writing it out here because sometimes insecurities are so stupid! I have a beautiful family and am just so happy we’re all together.

Wyatt is home now and improving every day. It stills proves to be the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do. It’s been a roller coaster of changes. I’ve learned very quickly all the things we take for granted, it’s humbled me a lot. Also I’ve learned patience. So much patience. Even though I fail on that part daily. Our new normal is tough. I’m just so very thankful to have my husband home and hope to continue to see improvements.

It was Nolan’s first time at the zoo and he was so excited. He loved screaming and growling at all the animals. It’s crazy that I now have 3 kids big enough to just walk around everywhere. We had a really great day and were all worn out from all the walking.

I’ve been asking Wyatt to take more pictures of me with the kids, whatever they may look like. I mean there are only 2 million pictures of him with them. I’m tired of only getting selfies or being the one taking the picture.
