Hi I just wanted to say thank you for the kind words on my petscop/twin peaks piece!! They really meant a lot!!
ahhh i never answer my asks sorry its been a month but your welcome!! its such a haunting painting and feels very accurate to petscop. i dont have the twin peaks context so this might be off but so many of the details feel really haunting. the tool matching the wall - bright red (RED - cares red-tinted nlm sprite - "marvin hurts me with tool" - blood red - red bricks. etc.) the windmill at pauls side (ITS RIGHT THERE ITS HAUNTING HIM - if you interpret it as paul is somehow care its even worse. ITS WHAT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE PAUL)
and just. the text. the fact its backwards, in this foggy transluscent white, like we're seeing through a window and someone is writing in fogged breathe on that window, like a child on a school bus. or maybe not a window. maybe a console screen. the fact that (i imagine this happened for a bunch of other people) you start reading it, slower than normal because its backwards and in a few words it clicks like a gun. oh. do you rem- you know this sentence. you dont even have to finish reading it. its. AUGH. the artistic choices GET MEEEE.
