Mochi dubbed this to be my au apparently so yeah.

wrote a thing for it but its no where near finished seeing as it will go on and on and on ok.

basic idea is that cronus picks up a pet at the pound to impress meenah but he turns out to regret it pretty soon as pet!kankri isnt the easiest. he'll warm up to him soon though uvu 

im assuming this goes for the cronkringdom because well its got them both and its p cute ok

Your name is Cronus Ampora, and you have never seen such a pathetic sight before.

It has been only one hour since you have acquired your new housemate, but you are already deeply regretting it. In the time you have released him in your home, he hasn’t showed his face once since he found out about the hiding spot underneath your couch.

Great. Just great.

How were you going to impress her this way? You can’t just brag about your new pet and then have nothing to show. And even if he decided on showing his face again, it wasn’t like he was the most.. Impressive of the bunch. It is that you have such a sensitive personality, otherwise you would have left him to rot there- Only to be exterminated the next day. Wait, sensitive? Really? You? Wow. Not many people would actually call you sensitive. It was just you who bleated that around in the first place. Though, when you saw those big sad eyes of his, you couldn’t help but to say yes, sealing away your soul to him by signing the adoption papers. At least that was what it felt like. You had already bought him the whole deal; a bed, toys, food, litter boxes, collars and what not. The whole package indeed.

With a sigh you sat down on your couch, not minding the feral troll hiding underneath it. Man, why did you end up with such a sad looking thing? Because you were weak. That’s why.

“You have to get out of there sometime, you know.”

No response. From the corner of your eye you caught sight of a long, slender tail sticking out of the couch, tipped with a ball of fur. Hmm. With a swift movement of your hands you pulled your new pet out of his hiding place, and dangled it in front of you. The little guy screeched and squirmed, arms flailing around hastily. Once again, pathetic.

After a couple of minutes he calms down. Maybe the fact that you were just calmly holding him out of you helped, but you weren’t sure. Hands placed underneath his arms, he flicks his tail ever so often. Big, shiny eyes pierced right though yours, and you can’t help but to feel bad for the little guy again. Still though, you didn’t want much to do with it. Once you impressed Meenah you would just return the thing to the pound, where it would be killed mercilessly. Sounds about right.

The tiny thing had razor sharp teeth (you found out about that when you tried to pick him up the first time), two minuscule horns and most importantly, paws. His upper body didn’t have much fur, besides the fluff around his neck and chest, and maybe his hands- which were paws just like his feet. His lower body was covered in fur, beast like legs with a tail to finish the look. Man, what a weird creature.

His feet wobbled around, as he grew impatient with your thorough examinations, but instead of putting him on the ground you set him on your lap. Immediately the thing hopped off, dashing away into another room.
