I love my little martyr and imposter. I feel like if Beforus didn't (fucking *somehow*) quell Karkat's deep rooted anger and rage he would have started a revolution as well, which I like the theory that it's due to Alternian Karkat using his anger to be respected since Alternian culture is more violent than Beforus. Meaning Karkat is doing all he can to fit in on Beforus just as he had done on Alternia, and if that means keeping your head down and taking the imprisonment like a champ, then so be it. He will get a good grade in Prison, which is both a normal and totally achievable thing to want.
