I got to this point afraid of the fall and, given that climbing in #Fontainbleau is about understanding rather than overpowering, a bit more tense than I would have liked to be. Squeezing tightly and fiddling with an improvised bicycle on the fly I found a comfortable balance point that offered more security than I had imagined from the ground and exhaled deeply. Looking up for the match, I found a small caterpillar on the sloping edge and took a minute to say hello before sending him on his way with a strong breath and replacing him with my left hand. He on his way and me on mine.
