The Cathedral of St. Judith is a historic parish church of the Diocese of Cape Monkfish, built in 1694 by the efforts of Mother Colombina and her brethren and sistren of the church as part of the abbey. Though headed by the Bishop, he knows not to mess with the Abbess.

The sprawling estate includes a chapel with a garden, a refectory, a chapter house, a dormitory, a lavatorium, a library, a watch tower, a caretaker's cottage, a chicken barn, and a statue folly.

(The lot is based on [san]'s clive barker's undying monastery from MTS2)

The inner courtyard features a charming little cherry tree, which the monks often harvest to make cherry sweets to be sold to keep the monastery running. A small courtyard is used as a place of contemplation, with the soft sounds of some small wall fountains.

But of course, the priory is known for its nectary. On the other side of the priory is the vineyard where grapes for their famous Zsardonye Nectars are grown. Watching over them is St. Zsardonye himself at the statue folly, which sits at the end of the cloisters.

At the back of the vineyard is the old watch tower, now used as a pigeon's aviary, and the barn where the chicken are kept. The chickens keep the vineyard free of pests, and behind it, in the back courtyard, is the old well, which leads to the clothesline area and a corridor to the refectory.

In a small town outside of Cape Monkfish, a small priory is led by a small congregation of Judithian monks who lead quiet, monastic lives. Named after St. Zsardonye, an Old World bishop who was branded a heretic and drowned in a huge vat of nectar by the king, the priory is also well-known for its unique white nectar, perfect to pair with any catch of the day from Cape Monkfish Bay--even the mutated ones!

The historic chapel was among the first buildings built by the piligrim monks in the early 1700s. When you drive by, you can hear the monks chanting or practicing their heavenly choir songs, featuring numbers such as 'Prayer to St. Judith' and 'Gettin' Down and Holy with the Rest of 'Em'.

Entering the courtyard leads you to the library and scriptorium, where the first monks of the priory would note down philosophical musings of life and silly drawings of each other.

At its side is the chapter house, which houses the prior's office, the parlor, a pretty corridor, and a communal lavatory.

Across it is the refectory, which features the stairs to the dormitories and lavatorium upstairs, the kitchen, and the refectory itself where the monks have their daily meals.

Going upstairs takes you to the dormitories and the simple bedrooms of the Peteran monks, and the lavatorium, a communal bathroom for the residents.

@darkestdawn's priestess in the Our Lady of Plumbbobs Church made me rethink my nun wimples so here I have the Peteran sisters of St. Judith and the priestess of the parish church.
