Ugh, thinking about John and George hanging out in primary school together. Him and John went to the same school and Peter Harrison (George’s brother) would have been in the same class as John. They were definitely the first to meet

“I remember as a baby standing on a little leather stool, singing [Josh White’s] ‘One Meatball.’” - George Harrison, I Me Mine (1980) “I remember being young and I’d sing at parties, you know, if my mother took me to a party, I’d end up singing. I don’t know… if I just liked being the laughingstock of the party. But whatever it was, there was always something going on there.” - George Harrison, radio interview (1975) “I have memories of being taken around by my mother when she went shopping on Saturdays. I used to be dragged around, seeing old ladies whom she always seemed to know and had to visit. They probably weren’t that old, but when you are a child anyone over twenty seems old. And there were news theaters — cinemas in little period buildings — that would show cartoons and Pathé Pictorial News. They wouldn’t have any main features and a show would be about fifty minutes long. So you could do your shopping and when you got tired go and have a coffee, go to the news theater, watch a few cartoons, then go and continue shopping. When I was very small I joined the Cubs, which was at a Catholic Church called St. Anthony’s of Padua […]. And when we got home Akela would thrash us to sleep with her woggle. […] [After moving to Speke] we were just a stone’s throw from Widnes. I used to go all the time down to Oglet, the shoreline of the river. The ride would go out miles and the riverbed would be all mud. People would go up and down it on motorbikes. I would walk for hours along the mud cliffs of the Mersey and through farm field and woods. I liked the outdoors.” - George Harrison, The Beatles Anthology
Only just now realized you literally look exactly like your mom
Have you seen the quote of Paul talking about George's brother? Honestly I think that Paul had a crush on all of George's family.
Yes! George's older brother, who was "made a man of" in the army, right? Thereby deeply impressing young Paul. I can see the Harrison family being attractive to Paul for a number of reasons: two parents, father a bus driver (thanks for the reminder, @pauls1967moustache), attractive older siblings...
I know we often joke about Paul stretching the age difference between himself and George, making George the same age as Paul's younger brother, Mike. But I wonder if part of Paul also saw the advantages of being the youngest in the house, and longed for it occasionally.
For no other reason than it's a beautiful picture: Here are George, his sister Louise, and his brother Peter, and Louise's daughter Leslie. George and Peter are visiting their sister in Illinois. (1963.)

September 16-30, 1963 -The Beatles had a rare two-week break in September 1963🎸🎸🎸
John and Cynthia Lennon took a belated honeymoon in Paris. George Harrison flew to America and visited his Sister in Benton🌵
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr went on holiday to Greece. McCartney and Starr took the trip with their partners Jane Asher and Maureen Cox🎍
While staying with sister Louise in Benton, Illinois, George performed twice with the local band Four Vests. One of these concerts was on September 28, 1963. There were 75 people in the hall, and they were delighted with his performance. After the concert, one person slapped George on the back and said: with the right support, you could be successful🪷
He was in Benton for two weeks. He and his sister's family visited the Garden of the Gods, Pound's Hollow, the Marion Drive-In, and the Dog 'n' Suds🌻
They also went to the VFW Hall in Eldorado, Illinois, where George sat in with a local band, The Four Vests. George got to know some of the area's musicians, which included a neighbor, Warren Batts, who had toured with Bill Haley's Comets🍀
Warren lives in Henderson, Kentucky, these days and still performs. George would come to Warren's house, and they'd practice their guitars🌹
"He really liked Chet Atkins and Carl Perkins, and we'd work on their licks,” Warren told me. "He didn't seem especially ambitious about the band he was in back home, but he was serious about being a better musician."🌷

Peter!
This has been an interesting series. I think all in all they look sort of uncanny, probably partly due to somewhat more realistic facial shading combined with big anime eyes. But it was fun to do.
My other main takeaway is that oh god I need to stop drawing them from the front, everything is harder from the front.
