Foster baby is off to his forever home after getting x-rays that make everyone think he has arthritis and not scurvy. Slightly unfortunate for him because vitamin C supplements would have solved everything with the scurvy but there’s only so much you can do for arthritis. His new momma was so excited to meet him and was so excited to spend the rest of the afternoon snuggling him and getting to know him. I think Chester’s ready to go back to being an only child.

Foster baby has a forever home! I’m hoping that I can take him to the vet before he goes to his new family just so we can verify what’s going on with his legs. I’ve got to go pick up vitamin C and meloxicam drops for him today and hopefully he won’t seem to be in so much pain anymore.

The adoption of my foster fell through so we’ve officially moved onto seeing if I can get him and Chester to tolerate each other’s presence in the play pen, at least while supervised, so they have some interaction outside of their cages. Goal is to get the fence separating them down by the end of the week
