The Italian pipe manufacturer Ser Jacopo (full name: Ser Jacopo dalla Gemma) is one of the most renowned and creative names in the world of high-end pipe making. It epitomises the famous Pesaro School like almost no other brand.
The workshop was founded in 1982 by Giancarlo Guidi in Pesaro, on Italy's Adriatic coast. Guidi was no stranger to the trade: he had already co-founded the equally legendary Mastro de Paja brand in 1971. After more than a decade, however, he sought even greater artistic freedom and founded Ser Jacopo.
For collectors and connoisseurs alike, a Ser Jacopo pipe is still regarded as a true character piece: impeccably crafted, exceptionally well balanced, offering outstanding smoking qualities, and always displaying a touch of Italian elegance.
