FUN FACT i accidentally flipped her sign somewhere within the past 5+ years without having noticed
ANOTHER FUN FACT her symbol is based off of spiral galaxies! but highly stylized. At the time of her creation i had no idea if that’s the type of galaxy Andromeda is [what she’s named after, i also learned that it Isn’t OTL] but it’s stuck
In the middle is the black hole, and the trailing dots represent stardust! Based off of a barred spiral galaxy, except flipped. I actually decided to make it canon that Shay herself just flipped her symbol over when she returned from the fleet believing it was enough of a change that it wouldn’t give away her last name ASKDJHDH [and somehow it’s worked]
