In ain’t one to draw a perspective grid and then place figures in it; it’s never worked for me. So here’s my method!
Perspective doesn't have to be rigid: a tutorial
Perspective is one of the most powerful tools you have as a comic artist, but I feel it's a bit misunderstood. Feared, sometimes. Maybe even a bit maligned. But it doesn't have to be that way and it makes me sad to see my fellow artists struggling, so I put together this tutorial. It contains my own way of thinking about perspective beyond the purely technical definitions, more of "how to approach the problem" kind of thing. Don't get me wrong; I love the technical challenge of creating a complex 4-point perspective just for the sake of it, but I realise not everyone is like me. If you want to use perspective tools without committing to hours of techinical drawing, this is for you.

Simple 2 Point Perspective Tip
Something I learned in college that more people should know: When drawing 2 point perspective, treat the points as the ends of the diameter of an imaginary circle. Whatever image you're drawing should fit within the borders of that circle, to avoid things looking kinda wonky. There's a biological reason for this having to do with the human eye's limits,* but it's not strictly necessary to know and IME just confuses beginners. Just know that, whatever extreme angles you do, as long as you're within that circle, you're good to go. *Look up "Cone of Vision" if you're interested.
