Currently watching: Movie wise, have been filling in gaps in the Lynne Ramsay and Jane Campion filmographies before I do some of those big honkin religious epics over Passover and Easter. TV wise, I actually have an answer, and get this: it's Survivor. It’s 2001 again, baby! My sister and brother-in-law lured me back into it over a recent family holiday when they were catching up on the previous season. Hadn’t seen it since I was a kid, and as an adult, well I love sociology. I’m watching it on genuine local broadcast television via the $12 rabbit ears TV antenna I got to watch movie awards shows, which really augments the Aughts energy of the experience.

Currently reading: Still John Le Carré's The Honourable Schoolboy, listen I got distracted for a while there with the Wuthering, also it is 600 pages (of bureaucratic spy action)

Current obsession: The falling cherry blossoms on my block

Currently working on: Developing new rituals; top entries at present are breakfast vinyl (see above), afternoon matcha, burning my poppy colored beeswax taper candles in the evening
