NEW SINGLE

 “En la vía” belongs to their upcoming LP, “Cielo Perro “which will be released during the first semester of 2015

Perrosky is doing great. The duet is releasing a new single: “En la vía” A song whose “doo wop” chorus reminds us the Motown’s ballads of the 60´s with a twist of modern and garage sound . The B side is a “Ramonish” type of song that tells about a small town in Italy. “Soncino bye bye” with funny lyrics honoring all bands touring nonstop around the globe carrying their music to all places.

  Perrosky can reproduce with rawness and fidelity the American blues, folk and rock and roll. But at the same time, the localness from Chile in the sound and aesthetic can be perceived.  

  It has been 12 years since Perrosky released a first cassette: Añejo. It was the personal project from the singer and guitar player Alejandro Gómez. Then his brother Alvaro joined in the drums, and that was it.  They both established an independent record label Algo Records where Perrosky would be its most important artist.  After a few years the audience of this band started to grow with hymns like “La pena va a pasar” and “La Rancherita”.

  After releasing a couple of albums Perrosky went to New York where they recorded and were produced by Jon Spencer and Matt Verta Ray (Blues Explosion, Heavy Trash). Tostado was released on 2011 in vinyl that shows the versatility on sounds, sensibility, and the most furious rock and roll, that only can be blended by Perrosky. Although the music has become more complex (but still just guitar and drums), the lyrics remain clear and simple. But with a  evolved and expanded sound .

With their fourth LP, Vivos (2013), it was the only Chilean band invited to Lollapalooza Chile and Brasil. Soon after, they started a European tour where they performed for the second time in Primavera Sound festival (Spain) but Also has taken them to Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay, an recently to last year to play at SXSW in Austin. And They are ready hit Europe Again.
