Happy Birthday, Ky Kiske (November 20th)!
It's been a while since I posted a GG1 video.
This one's rather special though~.
So I made my first ever YT video! It's me beating the first level of Doom 1 while taking no damage at all. I hope this continues into a whole challenge run series, honestly.
No audio commentary because my mic sucks and I'm insecure about my voice.
Look at this thing, it’s magnificent.
(Breakdown behind the cut)
I've done it again lads.

I’ve recently posted a video of a buster-only, no damage run of Bounce Man’s boss battle from Mega Man 11, and even to this day I’m pretty proud of myself for managing such a perfect run. In the tags of that post, I mention there being a similar perfect run for Impact Man’s boss battle, wherein I bypass his Power Gear like I did with Bounce Man’s Speed Gear. I also mention that it could be done better because I miss the first shot I take at him- no flair there. However, I’ve been playing the boss rush stage of the Gear Fortress quite a lot lately (Just like I did back in 2019), and not only did today’s run of it yield a perfect run of Block Man’s boss battle that I managed to record, but I ALSO managed to record an even better perfect run of Impact Man’s boss battle, now landing every shot I make AND having it be done damageless! Pulling this off was SO satisfying, and I’m making it a goal to have a perfect run for the remaining six robot masters of Mega Man 11 while maintaining the quick and stylish nature of the two I’ve already pulled off. Enjoy the gameplay!
Behold, tumblr, a feat I’ve accomplished that I’d like to share:
A perfect run of Plague Knight’s boss battle without the use of the Phase Locket.
What you’re watching is the end result of two to three hours of me attempting to perform a no-hit run against the highly unpredictable Plague Knight and his mind-boggling assortment of attacks. What started as a test to see if I could memorize the attack patterns of Plague Knight eventually ended up as a challenge most taxing, one that I still can’t believe I pulled off!
Originally, I was going to include tips and observations I made regarding Plague Knight’s attack patterns, but I felt as though it made the post unnecessarily long. However, if anyone’s interested, feel free to let me know, and I’ll share my ‘teachings’ with you. Enjoy!
Here is a buster-only perfect run of Concrete Man from Mega Man 9 that I managed to pull off a few nights back! It just began as me playing through some of Mega Man 9′s harder bosses (I.E. six of the eight total bosses... Mega Man 9′s not an easy game) but then I began to notice a pattern in Concrete Man’s attacks and wanted to see if I could manage a perfect run. It took significantly less time than it took for me to perfect run Plague Knight (Probably because Concrete Man isn’t tossing explosives every two seconds) but it was still a satisfying experience!
