Periflynn is right and he should say it. He works himself way too hard and he does need a break. I'm not sure a nice dinner out would be appreciated, as that's just another place he needs to be careful in, but maybe a cheap dinner at a diner ala Dex's? I think he'd be able to cut loose a little bit.

First personal detail they're willing to tell a new person in their lives? Oh boy. Eight is so resistant to giving up personal details especially if it's sensitive information that he usually ends up not telling anyone anything at all.... it's like torture to him. Mayhaps he could be convinced to let loose the fact that he's Echani and not a human as he usually masquerades as, though that's more of a loophole than anything really personal. What a troll.
14. Stereotype they accidentally fall into? Cold impersonal assassin. I wouldn't even call it accidentally.... he was very unfeeling for a long time under Intelligence. 15. Musical artist that always makes you think of them? PEOPLE 1 usually makes me think of them, mostly because of the song Dogland which was a fitting theme for them for a while! 22. Name you almost gave them? Ok. Listen. I struck gold from the minute I rolled the generator and went with the second name it gave me, but it tried to name them Pancack and that wasn't happening. XD 24. If they wrote a book, what would it be about?
I think Eight would write a series of memoirs about his imprisonment in Zakuul. It would obviously omit a lot of his past, but it would probably be a diary about his life and times in the Eternal Empire (and Arcann). I feel this would be turned into a popular and highly regarded historical record long after both of them are gone.

hiiii long time no see! hope you're doing well :) Family: would they change their family if they could? be raised by someone else, have a different number of siblings, know someone they've never met?
Family is a bit of a difficult topic to think about when he's so detached from his past. Eight believes slightly in luck, and no matter which way he looks at it, he just drew a short stick. He reckons that even if he had a different family, a different life, something would've happened along the same lines--but it's no use theorizing what could've been when he's living in the present. To be honest, he wouldn't. What he had was the best that could've come out of his situation, and he's not ungrateful in any measure. Change: if they could see how much they've changed over their life, coming face to face with a past or future self, how would they feel? If it's his past self, he would feel bittersweet amusement towards how he used to be. A frail, frightened child who was utterly empty inside, devoid of dreams or wishes... he won't feel sorry for himself knowing he ultimately survives the trials to come, but there's a small part of him that feels pity regardless. As for his future self, Eight might feel uncomfortable that he ends up so...spiritually broken down after Intelligence's dissolution. He'd do a lot of reflecting on his life decisions, to say the least, if not have a breakdown himself at realizing this is the version of him where all his work is worthless. Control: what do they think of mind control? would they use it on others? do they draw lines between acceptable and unacceptable versions of it? Rymeza knows it's ethically dubious, and once you start it's hard to stop and really there are no lines the minute you cross it, but there's moments where they want to so badly..........as a clueless padawan they might've used it a few times, and they'll pull it out if there's no way around certain situations, but the point *is* you hear stories out there as a spacer and as a citizen at war and it just skeeves them out.

in that post you made about them, i noticed you didn’t mention if they had a master—did they not have one? if not, did Midi teach themselves about the Force? if Midi did have a master, what was their relationship like? and, more importantly, is the trustworthy droid who saved them from death still with them?

I'm a little skeevy on how the Sith education system works and when Sith begin their training or can have a master so I might've left that out simply because I'm unsure how old you'd need to be to have one, and then the class story sort of confused me further on the hypothetical timeline, and I'm still hashing out how /that/ works in addition to this backstory--you get the idea. But let's say they had one anyways.
Midi more or less was taught at home, likely by family. I imagine any relationship with their master was fraught; first was their arrogance in being a know-it-all, and second was their physical weakness which made them a shameful liability. They would not have gotten along well with anyone who taught them, and would often ignore most of their advice to go teach themselves their own curriculum. It was a more of a non-relationship, and one can easily figure out why he was abhorred by those who knew him.
Their trustworthy droid unfortunately had its personality overwritten/subsumed by their subconscious, which happened when they merged bodies--Midi's using them as their physical form. They miss them very much, but they take comfort in knowing a part of them still exists in the current being they are now.

This really depends on the era, I think....in Intelligence, Eight might've glimpsed the dossier on the highly esteemed Barsen'thor who seems to embody everything the Jedi sell themselves at. Yup, that's a Jedi alright. Just as powerful as any Darth, and rather intimidating despite their supposed values of goodwill and kindness. He certainly holds no doubt she would be merciless if they ever met. He's not interested in meeting her as a person in this time.

i want to say his first impression of hysi is that she's amusing. she can't lie to save her life, and as a LS smuggler meeting a DS Wrath... I feel like she would need to lie. At least to any other wrath. fenley just thinks its hilarious that she's so bad at it, which is good because it grants her a stay of execution. its also bad, because fenley likes to play with his food.
anyways its the little things that would interest him rather than hysi's bubbly personality, although he would appreciate that too. anyone who feels big, genuine emotions he automatically likes more than people who try to control what they're feeling. he is mr. i want to feel everything and he left the jedi to do it, so, yeah.
depending on how they meet, he might even try to recruit her into his crew -- whether that's forever, or just until she can meet back up with her smuggler, that's up to her. doubly fun if he can convince her to go clubbing with him and/or do shots. he cleanses the alcohol with the toxin purging technique the jedi know, so he would just do it to be a menace...
