I had someone ask me what's the difference between a Millennial and a Gen-Xer?  I don't like labels.  All I know is I'm a member of the Pepsi Generation.   Those of us Pepsi Generation members believe that making mistakes is the best way to learn. It's called experience.  (Unless you're in the Bomb Squad.) I avoid looking for trouble.  Had a guy at work talking about how his girlfriend has put on a few pounds since they started dating.  He asked if there was a polite way to tell her she was gaining weight?  I asked him; "So you want to know if there is a SAFE way to tell your lady she's gotten a little chunky?" This is one area with women that I'd tread very carefully.  Women and weight are a minefield of problems.  One misstep and BOOM!  You have never seen a room of men scatter like after he brought up this subject.  You'd have thought someone had just passed gas.  I told him perhaps he could say he wanted to shape up and ask her if she'd like to join him on some diet or workout regiment he was going to start?  Then you're not pointing fingers. He liked that idea.  I did tell him If you do this be careful.  I heard of a guy who got on one of those diet programs and lost five inches right away.  Now he has no penis at all.
