I have a foster dog! Just picked her up yesterday, and though she was shy at first, she spent the night sleeping on my bed. Her name is Pepper (or at least that's what we were told at the Humane Society). Not going to post pictures as yet, given that she was picked up as a stray and so her fur is pretty messed up right now. She has a groomers appointment on Monday.

She is a poodle/bishon mix, and is very friendly. Seems to be decently house trained too, which is a relief. She warms up to people fast, but is also a bit anxious about being left alone.

Just in case, I'll link to the lost dogs MN facebook post. Hopefully will have some decent photos of her by Monday afternoon or so.

Oh, and I think Pepper will be helping me exercise a lot. Took her out on a walk this morning and she was really pushing my walking pace. Though when my dad took her out, he said he was leading mostly, so it may be that I'm just out of shape. (Hint: yes, yes I am.)

Pepper won't take her medicine. I forced her to swallow most of the pills, but there are these other two nasty smelling tablets she refuses to swallow. Even when I put them behind her tongue, she manages to spit them out. If we keep trying to hide it in food, she may stop eating altogether- AND THAT'S NO GOOD. Old girl, all we want is for you to feel better...
