Senap och Gräddsås (Mustard and Cream Sauce)
This simple and tasty Senap och Gräddsås compliments fish and poultry beautifully, and also makes an excellent salad dressing.
Ingredients (makes about 1/2 cup):
1 1/2 heaped tablespoon Dijon Mustard
1 1/2 heaped teaspoon honey (like Rosendals Trädgårds honig)
2 heaped tablespoons sour cream
1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
the green part of a Spring onion
In a small bowl, combine Dijon Mustard and honey, and stir until well-blended. Add sour cream, apple cider vinegar and black pepper, and give a good stir.
Finally, finel chop green part of the Spring onion, and stir into the sauce.
Senap och Gräddsås is very good with poached, smoked or cured fish (like Gravadlax) or on warm potatoes, or dressing a salad...
