Hi! I hope you're doing well! I was wondering what was your take on the whole "You have to design a sigil yourself for it to work" thing that I feel like I'm seeing pretty much everywhere. To me that feels kind of weird, because if someone poured their energy into the making of a sigil and the person using it charges it as well, it should work, no? Sorry if you've had a similar ask before ^^' But thank you for your amazing work and kindness in sharing your talent and knowledge
It’s a personal belief that varies from person to person, and there’s a reason for that.
Some people find they can’t successfully use sigils made by other people, that they have to make it themselves.Some people I’ve come across claim that they’ve only been successful with sigil magic using other peoples sigils, but when they try to use their own it just doesn’t work.I think most people, including myself, find they can use both
What I chalk it up to is everybodys energy is different and therefore works in different waysIf something works for you, then it works for you

If a lawyer was disbarred because of a crime, are there jobs in the law circle they could fall back upon? What does happen to these people? Are there other consequences? A lawyer who’s disbarred is not allowed to continue to practice law (obviously) but people who have been to law school have lots of useful skills, such as critical thinking, research, and writing proficiency. Many law school graduates go into politics or business and never practice law.
But you’ve asked what they might do within law circles. I’ve heard of people who aren’t allowed to practice law anymore becoming paralegals or doing other quasi-legal work, such as becoming an advocate.
Paralegals can fill out paperwork and assist people with legal issues. They are not allowed to give legal advice, but they do a lot of really important work at a far lower hourly rate than lawyers.
Advocates help people out who are dealing with bureaucracies, by coming along with them and talking to the right people, and helping them to get the results they need. They may work in immigration, mental health, etc.
The main thing is that neither of these jobs are allowed to give legal advice, and they have to be careful not to accidentally misrepresent themselves as being lawyers. Otherwise, they can be sanctioned again by the law society for that.

Hello! I hope you didn't get this question before; A child was taken away from his father after being proved physically and psychologically abused by him. The father eventually gains back custody of the child after having gone through therapy and proven that he could take care of him once more. How much time would social services keep an eye on the family after that? Would they visit them every X amount of time? Or would they completely close the case after a while? Thanks so much for your work!
The father would have to go through several programs in order to prove that he could now take care of his child. Before he could regain custody the father and child would do supervised visits to see how they act and so that they can gain a certain amount of trust.
However if the child does not feel safe going to live with his/her father then that will be taken into consideration.
There isn’t a fixed amount of time that they would keep an eye on the family but they would do visits every now and then just to see how things are going. These visits can be planned or unplanned so that they Social Worker can see how interactions between the family is when they aren’t expecting to be visited.
After a while the case would be closed. The amount of time is up to you.
Sometimes a Social Worker can have thirty or more cases that they are working on. This means that visits can go overlooked or the Social Worker might miss something important because they are trying to keep up with their immense work load.

I'm sorry if you got anything like that before, I did try to scan your blog to see if you'd answered a similar question in the past and didn't find anything. So, if a lawyer saw himself accused of physical and psychological abuse towards their child, would he still be allowed to practice as a lawyer afterwards? He does eventually gain back the custody of the child, I'm not sure if that has any impact, but there it is. Thank you for your hard work! :)
It’s very likely that a lawyer who was found to have been abusive towards a child would not be allowed to practice law any longer. Lawyers are held to a very high ethical standard, and we are not allowed to commit crimes or bring the reputation of the legal profession into disrepute.
Lawyers who lie, cheat, and steal don’t just get sanctioned for those crimes, but they may be sanctioned separately by our governing body, which is called the Law Society. The Law Society can impose fines, suspend lawyers, or outright disbar them, which means that their license to practice law is taken away.
However, if the lawyer was only accused and was later exonerated and regained custody, they likely wouldn’t be disbarred just for the accusation. The Law Society would certainly scrutinize the situation closely until the matter was straightened out.
