As I sit in the playhouse parking lot crying like a baby, after locking up the building and turning in my keys, I can't think of the right words to say other than thank you. Thank you penguin family for letting me be a part of your team and eventually a part of your family. It has truly been a life changing experience for me and I am forever grateful for you all. So thank you, for teaching me acceptance and most of all love. There is so much love. I'm going to miss everyone deeply. So, Good job, good job, good good good job! Day 4: Tonight goes out to all of the Penguins! We are getting closer and closer to Opening Night! Tomorrow we have exceptional families night. I can't even explain how much this program has grown on me and has made me a better person. Never in a million years would I think I would get to spend time with 61 kids, half of them with special needs, and would enjoy it! I have fallen so in love with these kids and this program I can't even put into words what it means to me! #penguinproject #penguinsunite
