It's Saturday, let's get blasphemous: the people in the first book of the Bible, Genesis, who are said to have lived for hundreds of years, are Lanthanites. One of them is probably Pelia (I don't remember if there are any women mentioned, but probably?). When Lanthanites got discovered as a separate long-living species in Star Trek universe, it caused major theological debates, rifts and schisms on multiple fronts, including the study of the Bible. Some younger Lanthanites probably grifted people with telling stories of meeting Jesus and the band for favours and money, even though they were born in 1412 and literally never met anyone of importance.
