Gundham/Peko/Mikan,,,,,,,,,so real and true honestly ❤️

• I think I’ve already mentioned the idea of Gundham helping Peko to interact with animals in a gentle and non-threatening way, but fuck it I am bringing it up again because it’s cute and I love it <3 Mikan is also here for emotional support and because she likes to pet the fluffy animals too teehee <3

• pspsps Mikan patching up Gundham an inevitable bit or scratch from an animal-handling session gone awry……..please it’d be so sweet and tender 🥺

• What if one day Gundham was so tired from handling animals all day that he accidentally ended up petting one or both of his girlfriends in a calming or affectionate manner and they both liked it way more than they thought they would. huh. what then. (they would both be so embarrassed I’m gonna cry……please this ship is so sweet!!!! 😭)

• no but also I could absolutely see Gundham unconsciously using some common techniques he uses to soothe his animals on Mikan when she gets upset or anxious. like no thoughts just shoosh the girlfriend like a majestic horse ❤️ (his ass does NOT know how to appropriately interact with human people, let alone be consciously intimate with them)

• Mikan reminds Peko of something cute and fluffy………..man this girl is getting pets from BOTH of her lovers!!!!!!!!

• Peko “I am just a tool,” Pekoyama vs. Mikan “I’d break your bones again and again just to take care of you and keep you near me forever and ever” Tsumiki horrible childhood coping mechanisms towards the concept of intimacy, FIGHT

• no but like. Peko getting scraped up after a duel or fight or something and Mikan immediately making a dive towards her so she can wrap her up in bandages immediately, all while Peko is just [autism stare] at her cause like. whaddahell….

You and Gundham can talk all day about taking care of animals and Peko would listen in happily admiring her two lovers.

Seeing you two smile just makes her feel soft... But the GREAT kind of soft.

He took it upon himself to help Peko get along with the animals better... But since you also are very knowledgeable about animal behavior you sometimes step in.

Her radiant smile as she was petting any animal was a sight to behold that enchanted both yours and Gundham's heart.

And after some time she turned out to be a great assistant when it came to calming the animals down... She wasn't as great as Gundham but still very reliable.

If you are a bit more confident with affection you and Peko often do little sneak attacks on Gundham. You have just the way to convince her to do it.

It's not a rare sight to see you three asleep with animal companions snuggling to you.

Mahiru’s body lay against the door, surrounded by neon pink blood. A metal baseball bat lay nearby, covered in blood, as well as a plastic mask of a cute anime character, its expression of delight mocking Hajime as he stood in front of the dead body, Kazuichi by his side.

“God damnit! Why did this happen again?!” Kazuichi yelled as he clutched his head.

Hajime wasn’t listening. His entire body was shaking as wet tears fell from his eyes. He closed his hands into fists, his nails digging into his palm as he felt different emotions course through his body. Melancholy at Mahiru’s dead body, anger to whoever decided to kill her, and despair at the prospect of another class trial. He finally snapped out of his trance when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He shakily turned his head to Kazuichi, trying and failing to contain his tears. The mechanic had a somber look on his face.

“It’s fine to cry, man. I know you guys were close.”

He suddenly pulled Kazuichi into an embrace, the latter awkwardly patting his shoulder in comfort.

“Just...let it all out, alright soul friend?”

“Ding ding ding! You guys got it right! The person that killed Mahiru Koizumi is Peko Pekoyama!”

Even though the class trial was finally over, Hajime refused to look at her. The person that had killed Mahiru. The person that had taken her away from this world, away from him.

“Peko, I still don’t understand! Why did you do it?” His voice was strained after the heated trial, and tears were threatening to come back again.

Peko gave a sad smile. “For my young master, of course.” Fuyuhiko visibly flinched as she began to tell her story.

She told them everything. How she had been born only to be abandoned, how she had been saved to serve her young master, how she was part of the Kuzuryuu clan, how she was nothing but a tool to be used. By the time she had finished, everyone’s expressions were that of shock, sadness, betrayal, or a mixture of them. Fuyuhiko looked at her. He saw their gazes pointed towards himself and Peko. And he opened his mouth, ready to scream at her that she wasn’t a tool. That she was the only one he ever trusted. That he would die to let her live every single time.

Someone beat him to it.

“Pekoyama!” Gundham yelled, pushing past the others to come face to face with the swordswoman.

“Gundham, what are you doing?!” Kazuichi yelled alarmed. “Were you not listening? She fucking kills people for a living!”

“I don’t kill for a living. I kill because it is my purpose.” Pekoyama calmly stated, eyes locked with the breeder’s.

“You are no tool.” Gundham said firmly. “You have emotions, and feel pain, just like any mortal.”

“Oh, Tanaka. Me being capable of death does not change the fact that I am nothing but a tool.”

“Then what of your interactions with others? With myself? What meaning do they hold to you, Peko Pekoyama?”

She looked away from him. “Nothing.”

“Lies. You cannot even say that without looking at me.” He gripped her left hand with his own, a gesture that surprised the girl. She knew how much he avoided physical contact. His hand was surprisingly warm, and was shaking badly. Was he scared...for her?

“Well, this has gone on long enough! Let hurry on to the execution of the Ultimate Swordswoman, Peko Pekoyama!”

“Hold on a fucking minute!” Fuyuhiko yelled angrily. “You think I’m just going to let you kill her?!”

“This can’t mean nothing to you, because, because…”

“Let’s give it everything we’ve got!” Monokuma continued despite Fuyuhiko’s yelling.

“Because the time we spent together...meant everything to me.” Tears began rolling down his face as the truth was revealed.

“T-Tanaka?” Her voice cracked as her mask finally broke, tears suddenly appearing from her eyes.

“It’s PUNISHMENT TIME!”

He could see her fighting against the Monokumas, but he knew she wasn’t doing it herself. Monokuma was controlling her like a puppet. Like a tool.

He struggled to push his way towards her, a hard task considering all the Monokumas were wielding katanas of their own. Getting too close to any of them could lead to a missing limb, or worse.

“Peko!” He yelled. She couldn’t hear him. She was too busy cutting all of the Monokumas trying to kill her.

He was almost there...he just had to pass this last-

He felt a sudden pain on the right part of his face. Part of his vision had suddenly been removed, but he could still see her, her face full of shock and despair. He collapsed on the ground, writhing in pain. The last thing he saw before blacking out was Peko standing above him, a sad smile on her face.

Peko stood in front of Fuyuhiko’s unconscious body for what felt like minutes, when it had only been a few seconds. Still in shock from what had happened, she didn’t notice the Monokumas slowly sneaking up behind her, or maybe she didn’t care. One of them raised its katana above her figure…

Gundham kicked the Monokuma aside, moments from it stabbing the swordswoman. He tugged the swordswoman’s arm, begging her to come with him.

“Pekoyama! There is still a way to survive! Come, you can still cheat death!” He was pushing the Monokumas away from her as well as Fuyuhiko, getting numerous cuts in the process.

“You know I can’t do that, Tanaka.” She said with a stiff voice. First Fuyuhiko, and now Gundham? Why were they sacrificing themselves for her sake? Why was this happening after she had chosen to sacrifice herself?

The Monokumas were slowly closing in. One of them had managed to slice a part of Gundham’s leg, sending the breeder down with a hiss of pain.

“You can still make it! Run like the wind, I can protect Fuyuhiko! Just live!”

“No. I won’t let anyone else die because of me. I must fulfill my purpose as a tool once and for all.” She suddenly grabbed his arm to push him away from her. He ended up next to Fuyuhiko, and was surprised to see the Monokumas completely ignore them in favor of heading closer to Peko.

“The Monokumas only want me dead. Take Fuyuhiko and escape.” She had dropped her katana a long time ago, and was letting her impending doom circle around her.

“Woman, I can’t leave you here to die! I came here to save you-”

“I’m a lost cause, Gundham. I always was.” He could barely see her in the crowd of Monokumas, but her face looked almost...peaceful.

“Take care of Fuyuhiko for me.”

This time, he knew he couldn’t save her. He stood up on his injured legs and picked up Fuyuhiko, limping as fast as he could away from the Monokumas.
