Oh, absolutely lol. I know exactly who to blame for throwing me down this rabbit hole 😅

Penn: "I think Blair is Dan’s soul mate." & "I didn’t like how it ended, because it was just kind of [draws in breath sharply]. But I do like the scenes with Leighton because I get to kind of interact in a fun way with her. When Dan and Blair are together, I think that’s him at his brightest, maybe."

Leighton: "I think it’s cute, and it’s not like a relationship with anyone else. I think she kind of is her real self with him." & "I’ve always loved the dynamic between Blair and Dan, even though she’s constantly going back and forth with Chuck ... With Dan it’s different. They have more meaningful conversations and she finds something so attractive about that."

Penn: "I’ve never enjoyed any scenes on the show as much as those scenes with Leighton Meester, ... strictly as an actor, those scenes with Blair are the best.” & "It was something new for my character, and I was having fun with the rapport, and I think my dialogue benefited from it. It was actually a lot of fun to work with Leighton. I hadn’t much. We were like the only two who had never really interacted."

Leighton: "The one relationship I’d love to see play out is Blair and Dan — just selfishly, honestly, because I love working with Penn. So we’ll see! "
