Hehehe, The Siren and The Sailor Au <3

We should write it one day.

Shun is a sailor that works really hard to make enough money to raise his little sister.

When his crew doesn’t go out fishing, he goes out on his own to catch dinner or something he can sell. He usually goes out alone and he sings to himself to pass the time.

One day, Shun starts to get weird gifts, like bird skulls, jewelry, pearls... They all end up on the dock next to him as if they were appearing out of thin air.

Then, one day, he meets his little admirer, a Siren, complete with gorgeous hair, shimmering eyes and a shiny tail.

Sora, the Siren, admires Shun for his beautiful singing. He’s not used to humans, he can’t even speak their language, but he loves Shun. He loves his voice and his pretty legs.

Shun is, of course, terrified. Sailors like him make a tasty treat for sirens. He doesn’t trust Sora at first, not until Sora shows that he’s not looking for a human meal.

Shun ends up teaching Sora how to speak human language.  It’s not easy, Sora ends up cursing like a sailor, hehehe.

Shun likes to feed Sora the fish guts that he doesn’t use. Sora loves them, he slurps them all up.

Sora still brings Shun presents. It’s all this stuff he finds on the ocean floor. Pearls and jewelry are his favorite things to bring because Shun can sell them and make money.

They’re so happy spending time together. Sora likes to take Shun for a swim and Shun likes to teach Sora human things.

Hehehe, soup confuses Sora a lot. Why would you take fish out of the water just to put it in different water? Humans are weird.

Then there’s the ‘mating’ incident... Sora lays a bunch of eggs for Shun to fertilize. Of course, Shun can’t and he freaks out when Sora mentions it. Hehehe, Sora ends up snacking on his unfertilized eggs while Shun explains how human reproduction works.

They’re happy until the day that Sora brings Shun a locket. It’s an old locket and when Shun opens it, he sees his childhood picture staring back at him. The locket was his father’s before he father died at sea.

Shun gets upset and blames sirens for his father’s death. He leaves Sora, hurt and upset.

Sora tries to find him to apologize but he gets caught by Shun’s crew and sold to Reiji.

Reiji keeps him as an ‘experiment’ because a siren’s heart can heal anyone and grant life.

Oooh, I like this...

Sora sounds like a mad scientist, one that sews up stuffed toys and brings them to life. 

He’d have so many little stuffies that he brought to life and they’d all see him as their master.

Poor Shun would be so confused...

Maybe Shun could be injured too, some dream, right?

Sora can patch him up, then Shun will be part cuddly stuffie.

But Sora must have a reason for making little friends, maybe he’s really lonely.

But with Shun, he doesn’t have to be lonely anymore.

Maybe Sora brings his stuffies to life by giving them a piece of his heart.

So Sora gets really sick and Shun has to go find the stuffies to get Sora’s heart back.

When you’re brushing your teeth but Bae has other plans for you...

It’s not my best work but I finally did it because I finally thought of a silly scenario for them.

Hehehe, I’ve told you a lot of this but I don’t mind sharing more.

I’ll tell you my ideas for it and then later we can write it together if you want. <3

RPG Au:

It’s kind of based off of Virtual Reality games, RPGs and MMORPGs. So... Think of something like World of Warcraft meets Virtual Reality meets Overwatch.

Shun and Sora are both really active players in the game.

Sora has a pet lion and Shun has a pet raven.

Sora is a mix of races (you suggested them but I can’t remember anymore :( You’ll have to remind me).

Shun is a mage and he likes to wear big, flowy, pitch black cloaks.

Shun is 3 levels higher than Sora and it makes Sora really mad.

At first, they’re like rivals. They fight a lot. They keep getting in each other’s way.  They keep stealing each other’s kills, quests and loot.

They ‘hate’ each other, but they love to hate each other. It’s fun to have someone to compete with.

They love being rivals but they realize that they’re make a better team when they work together.

So they start doing quests together and protecting each other, healing each other, powering up each other.

They end up falling in love through all their quests.

So they get married in game and they build their own cottage in the middle of druid territory. 

Their pets end up breeding together and they get to raise baby griffins!

For their in game honeymoon, they can fly on their griffins and visit the clouds where the cloud mermaids and siren play.

But then, after a while, Shun stops playing as often and Sora becomes really sad because he thinks that Shun has become bored with him.

Shun refuses to tell him what’s wrong.

Then one day when Sora is out shopping, he hears Shun’s voice for the first time in real life. They used to talk in game so he knows that it’s him. He’s sure of it.

So he confronts Shun and Shun tells him the whole truth, that he can’t play as much because he’s working double shifts to put Ruri through college. He was afraid to tell Sora because he didn’t want Sora to think that he was catfishing him for money.

Then after they’ve meet and settled everything, they can finally start dating in real life.

Shun: *goes to check on Sora to make sure he's okay after he gets nearly blown up*

Shun: *compliments Sora for being tough*

Shun: *fights with Sora's wishes*

The ribbon wrapped over Sora’s eyes tickles as Shun ties it securely behind Sora’s head.  It smells faintly of the perfume Ruri liked to use.  Sora doesn’t have to ask to know that Shun has borrowed one of her many hair ties to make a makeshift blindfold.

“Where are we going?” Sora asks excitedly.  He tries to bounce with excitement but Shun holds him by his shoulders to stop him.

“Don’t bounce,” Shun scolds lightly, “You’ll make the blindfold slip off,”

Sora whines playfully as he paws at Shun’s shirt blindly as Shun helps him into the passenger seat of Shun’s car, “Are you taking me somewhere fun?”

Shun hesitates before he finally answers, “Yes,”

Sora’s smile falls when he hears the sound of the car doors locking around him.  He doesn’t like Shun’s tone or the hesitation in his voice.  This can only mean one thing.

“You can’t do that!” Sora scrambles for the door handle, “I don’t want to go to the dentist,”

“Sora,” Shun says in that brotherly voice he saves for moments like this one, “Calm down,”

“No,” Sora pouts as he unties the blindfold, “You lied to me,”

They’re both silent for the rest of the journey, aside from Sora’s sniffling.  He’s not crying, at least he won’t admit it.  Shun knows how much he hates the dentist.  Lying to him like this wasn’t fair at all.

“We’re here,” Shun announces as he pulls into an unfamiliar parking lot.

“This isn’t the dentist,” Sora mumbles, still sour.

“I never said we were going there,” Shun reminds as he helps Sora out of the car.  He holds out his hand, letting Sora be the one to take it.  Shun smiles when Sora finally does., “You’ll like this surprise,”

Sora begins to perk back up as Shun leads him through a small doorway.  He hears something… Something quiet but growing louder.

“Kitties!” Sora beams as a litter of jellybean fluffers come into view.  He plops straight onto the floor, letting the kittens climb on him and cuddle him.

“You can bring one home,” Shun says with a soft smile, “They need a home,”

“But I want all of them,” Sora says as he scoops them up in his arms, “We have room for them at home.  Please, Shun, can we please bring them all home,”

“F-fine,” Shun stutters, much too soft for his own good, “I wouldn’t want to separate siblings anyway,”

Sora giggles, kissing his newly adopted babies, “Let’s name this one ‘Grumpers’ since he looks like you,”

Shun rolls his eyes and beams down at Sora, “Whatever makes you happy,”

There’s silence in the room, with nothing but their breathing to fill the dark corners.  There’s almost no light, except for the hazy glow that filters through the thin curtains.  The light stretches out across the room, falling onto Shun’s face, highlighting his more delicate features.

Sora’s breathing hitches, catching in his throat as he stares up at Shun.  His eyes are so warm, so golden that it puts the sun to absolute shame.  There’s curiosity burning in them, begging and pleading to have more.

Sora fingers the hem of his shirt, taking a deep breath before he pulls the thin fabric over his head.  He lets it drop to the floor, along with his other clothes and Shun’s too.  They stare for a moment, curious, at each other.

Sora reaches out hesitantly, reaching out to carefully stroke Shun’s scars.  There are so many, reaching and stretching over Shun’s skin until they look like lines drawn onto a map or constellations in the night sky.

Shun flinches back, old habits die hard.  He’s not used to someone seeing him like this, when he’s at his most vulnerable.  No one has ever seen his scars, not all of them.  He’s kept too many hidden, worried that he would only hurt Ruri or Yuuto.

Their eyes meet, and Shun sees no anger, no hatred in Sora’s eyes.  Instead, he sees curiosity and wonder in them.  He lets Sora reach out the few inches to finally touch him, to touch the most sensitive parts of him.

“Mm,” Shun sighs, relaxing into the soft mattress beneath them, “That feels nice,”

“Does it?” Sora wonders aloud as he continues to stroke the rows of scars that looked too much like constellations.  Sora even thinks he sees a little fish among them.

Shun simply nods, closing his eyes to relish the warmth of Sora’s fingertips.  His touch is so soft and gentle, so loving and still hesitant.  There’s more warmth building inside of Shun that begs for Sora to move closer and closer still until they could be skin to skin.

It doesn’t take any words to ask Sora to cuddle him closer.  All Shun has to do is open his arms for Sora to snuggle into.  He nuzzles himself against Shun’s chest, enjoying the sensation of what it’s like to finally be held like this.

In the quiet of this, with no sounds aside from the brush of skin against skin or against the sheets and the quiet sound of breathing, neither one of them want to move.  They want to lay here forever, content in the safety of each other’s arms.

“Have you told Ruri about us yet?” Sora wonders as Shun places kisses into the inside of his wrist, along the small indentation left there from Sora’s hairband.

“Not yet,” Shun admits, “I want you to be there when I do,”

“Do you think she’ll be happy for us?  Even though we fought?” Sora presses.  Fought is such a mild term.  They had been at war but that was in the distant past and neither one of them wanted to look back.  Now was the time to look forward towards happier days.

“I know she will be when she sees how happy we are,”

Sora beams, playfully sneaking a kiss away from Shun, “Hehehe, let’s go right now, then,”

Shun squeezes him closer, “Not yet,” a blush colors his face, “I want to lay here and hold you a little longer,”
