I've never been good at expressing the feelings of my heart

But writing them down seems like a great way to start.

from losing what I ever held most near

is where, undoubtedly, begins all fear.

slowly fading away and losing all hope

in what used to keep me safe and everlastingly afloat.

the words you whispered and the looks you gave

deep into my soul

made me realize that you love me

stronger than the force of a black hole.

Trust that I'm here and I cannot abandon you

for in your eyes I see beauty 

and all the dark moments that hold true

to keeping you out of reach of all that we have been through.

that smile of reality

that force that pulled you in

to leave you in these times of torture

would be my most regrettable sin.

God gave me the gift of life and the 

ability to understand his word

I believe in a life worth living

where you are as free as a bird.

So gather your burdens and fly them to me.

I'll fly them far, far away

so that you may be at peace and
