Both turnout data and a U.S. Census Bureau survey released last month confirm that 𝘎𝘦𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘢 𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 in voter turnout during last fall’s midterm elections. Overall, an impressive 3.96 million Georgians went to the polls in 2022. That 3.96 million represents mothers finding sitters, working people taking time off, young people changing their routines, organizers knocking on doors, and volunteers giving their time to our democracy.
