[𝗠𝗮𝗰'𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 - 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗫𝗩𝗜] In 2019, I decided it was time to revisit the thing that started it all (for those of you who have - or haven't - been with me since the beginning, please refer to [Mac's Story - Part I]) - the Pacific Crest Trail. I began my second hike of the PCT on the same day of the year I began my first, May 18, but the trail I found myself on was completely different than the one I found myself on six years prior. I met dozens of other hikers every day on the trail, I hiked through nonstop rain for days at a time in the desert (and a snow-covered Fuller Ridge), and I encountered a snow-filled Sierra (compared to the zero snow Sierra I hiked through in 2013). Another difference between my first time on the PCT and last year? Last year I decided to end my hike after reaching Yosemite National Park (Tuolumne Vallery to be exact). Yosemite ended up being an appropriate time to end my hike, as my reason for doing so mostly revolved around my getting together with @paulinadao - a climber, photographer, and human extraordinaire. Since my departure from the PCT last year I have purchased a car (or at least I'm paying a bank slowly over time for a car), I have been doing a lot of climbing, and I have been planning a lot of trips (all of which have been canceled due to COVID-19). Hopefully, by the time this is posted (I'm writing this in the past), the coronavirus situation has passed peak "word ending" and we've taken steps toward a pre-March 2020 world (and we, in the US, have all gotten our $1200 checks). If it hasn't, I hope this tasteful nude helps to ease the pain of the insane world we're still living in. <3 📸: @paulinadao
