or is it just me?
so, within the last month, I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS & infertility. while my husband and I aren’t trying for babies right now, I’ve been struggling with it. anyways, I know I’m strong & I’m coming to terms with it. my family knows about it & I also put it on Facebook to raise awareness about PCOS. one of my friends found out she’s pregnant - with twins! - & I admit, I was jealous, but I am genuinely happy and excited for her. it’s an emotional day-by-day experience, where some days are harder than others. so, I have nothing against anyone that doesn’t have problems conceiving- but, my insensitive brother-in-law decided to post a Facebook status that he’s going to be a baby-daddy again, so everyone thinks his wife is pregnant- again ( she just had 2 babies almost exactly a year apart ) but it turns out that it isn’t true. it was a joke. I don’t know why, but this is so fucking upsetting to me. like I said, I don’t have any problems with people who are pregnant or don’t have problems. I might be jealous, but by no means do I take their happy event personally. however, I DO take this fake pregnancy joke seriously. it cuts deep. I don’t understand my emotions - maybe it’s just the hormone therapy in overdrive - but I want to cry that people would joke about that. I know so many beautiful women undergoing painful fertility treatments & drugs, knowing that’s what I have to look forward to whenever we decide to have kids. & it breaks my heart. so- anyone else feel this way or is it just me?
