second attempt at PCB etching (first with toner transfer). it shinyy.
originally tried photoresist process, but my laser printer couldn't produce opaque enough black so it kept getting exposed where it shouldn't. also i think leaving your photoresist in a hot shed for years before using it isn't good.
this one was toner transfer from the same overhead projector sheets at 130C on a hot plate with a rolling pin, i think it could stand to be a few degrees hotter. had to touch it up with marker. etched with ferric chloride solution, which took a long time cause i didn't warm up the solution effectively.
a few traces missing around the edges, and plenty with small breaks in them, but no short circuits at least (although theres a few close ones). good enough to test the part of the board i want to test. i'll do another try later.
definitely learning a lot about the design and routing process too.
