Smoke swirls above the trees and dissipates into the atmosphere, which on its own is nothing tragic, but the location of the fire is what has Izuku’s face twisting into a scowl. He knows, logically, that a patch of grass in the woods does not belong to him, but he can’t help the petulant thought that crosses his mind as he whips through the treetops toward the blaze. That’s our spot, not yours.
