Ignoring the purple eyes cuz they are most possibly just natural. At least Pyro didn't comment on Scott having purple eyes i think and also there's a lot of people with purple eyes in there.

What if Scott got corrupted back in Tegrith(not sure if i spelled it correctly). Scott said that the ice seems to slow the corruption spreading. So what if Scott is corrupted and the only reason why he didn't give any symptoms because he runs cold. He has ice magic, he came from a frozen place so maybe that allowed him to still be himself.

And he didn't even think of blaming Pyro because maybe he already saw what corruption does to people and maybe even possibly had to kill someone like Tim or at least witness their execution. He understands the reasoning even more after hearing about how Tim behaved and after seeing Tim them down a few times.

And he's looking for a cure for himself as well as for other people from his home who are also in a similar situation.

He's aware of his condition but scared to say anything even to Pyro, Drift and Shelby because he doesn't want to die yet. At least not until he finds a way to save his people back at home.
