Alright, October was a weak month for me again, who would have thought! đ
No, honestly, something has changed from the beginning of the year, when 6 books per month felt fairly manageable, to now, where I cut that number in half. Iâm not sure what it is. I mean, Iâve just started my masterâs programme and am kind of busy with that and also, I think Iâve just read longer books lately?Â
Who knows. Iâm a little embarrassed, but also telling myself that I shouldnât be! This is a good reading pace for me at the moment, one thatâs enjoyable for me, reading is a hobby and all that, so why should I feel guilty for âonlyâ reading three books this month?Â
Also if you have read three or less books this month⌠I see you, youâre still a valid bookworm, itâs actually 100% fine, no matter what people on here make it seem like and yeah, youâre good. â¤ď¸
Books Iâve read in October, 2019:Â
- The Goldfinch (Donna Tartt)
- Ninth House (Leigh Bardugo)
Audiobooks Iâve listened to in October 2019:Â
- Starworld (Audrey Coulthurst & Paula Garner)
I really enjoyed all three of these a lot! The Goldfinch is a 4.5 goodreads stars for me, I think, Ninth House 3 stars and Starworld 4 stars.Â
