I love being able to move my ears. I love when people comment on my ears moving out of reflex to hear something better because half the time I don’t realize it. It comes so naturally and is usually during a shift so having people be able to see me means everything

Phantom limbs.
I've noticed that since successfully gaining some weight my tail has gotten a bit thicker and my fur texture seems healthier? I didn't think the condition of my physical body affected my phantom body parts (other than them drooping/feeling heavier when I'm physically ill) so this is fascinating. It's also biologically accurate since snow leopard tails are so thick because of fat storage. Huh.

phantom limbs are so fucking ANNOYING. it feels, i guess, “itchy” is the best word to describe it? something between itchy and an ache. It’s neither of those, but that’s the closest I got. The biggest feeling though is ANNOYING. I can’t do anything about it, and it’s not exactly a nice feeling, so it just sits there. bugging me.
pros of preening fics: I relate to it on an otherkin level cons: my wings are so fucking vivid and right in my goddamn face MAKE IT STOP!!!!!
question for other therians/otherkins that get phantom limbs
I've seen a lot of people saying that their phantom limbs get in the way of daily human things (like sitting in chairs with high backs). I do get phantom limbs (ears, tail, and wings) but for me it's like they just phase through other objects, bc they're, y'know, not real. So, I'm just wondering is anyone else has this experience
