Let me introduce you my avian OC!

Her name is Monica, she’s a polite, well-mannered but rather introverted Sulphur-crested cockatoo who often feels uncomfortable when interacting with strangers. Thus, she prefers to enjoy her own company without seeking any stimulation from others.

Yeah, that's completely different from what you might think about anthropomorphic parrot (especially cockatoo) character, I intentionally designed Monica to be what people definitely never expect a cockatoo to be. They're usually chaotic, loud, and often a prone to attention-seeking. I think Monica herself is a perfect subversion of the stereotypical portrayal of cockatoos in medias. (Not to mention that I've put a glasses on her, just to clarify her unique personality.

I did a redraw of my character, Catherine, from my own world setting, The Mirror Worlds. Catherine is a member of the Waking Dawn, and is a very charismatic leader among the cult. She herself is a powerful necromancer, with aspirations to wake The Dreaming God and cause a permanent change in the world - for good or ill. To her, it doesn't really matter what happens so long as the world is remade from the horrible place she was raised in. She was basically raised by the cult after her mother died - and sees them as the only people who truly cared for her. She has family in Everlyn, however, they don't know she exists and currently believes that they abandoned mother and later herself to be taken into slavery (later to be in her mind rescued by the cult) and left her grandmother to die. 

Of course, none of that is true, as Her family was in fact looking for her mother all this time - but was never aware that she had a daughter in their absence. The rest is really tragedy.
